Configuration
Module dimensions: ~19" W × 12" H × 7" D (estimated from install photos using the 19.7" inverter width as scale reference, brick-course count, and LFP energy-density math for a 5 kWh module). Inverter dimensions are exact per the Duracell spec sheet. To refine when official numbers come in: edit
scripts/generate-duracell-models.mjs and run node scripts/generate-duracell-models.mjs.
Placement Cheat Sheet: where it can go
- Preferred spot
- Garage or exterior wall. Wall-mounted system (inverter anchors to the wall, module stacks sit against it). Indoor/outdoor rated (NEMA 3R / IP65).
- Sides
- 2" minimum horizontal between units and to anything beside them (per Duracell install manual)
- Above
- 6" minimum vertical clearance
- In front
- Keep clear access for service, nothing stored against the face
- Gas meters & water heaters
- 36" (3 ft) minimum. Code requirement, fully enforced by Solrite
- Outdoor installs
- Keep 3 ft from doors and windows that open into the home (IRC R328 fire code, AHJ-enforced)
