In AR, tap the floor to place, then drag the model against the wall (back edge of the pad and battery align).

- Preferred spot
- Garage, floor-standing against a wall (anchors to wall studs). Outdoor-rated (NEMA 3R) if it can't fit inside, sitting on a concrete pad.
- Sides
- 10" minimum from any other structure or opening (vents, doors, windows), and 10" between cabinets
- Above
- 6" minimum clearance
- In front
- Keep a clear servicing path, nothing stored against the face
- Gas meters & water heaters
- 36" (3 ft) minimum. Code requirement, fully enforced by Solrite
- Outdoor installs
- Keep 3 ft from doors and windows that open into the home (IRC R328 fire code, AHJ-enforced)
